The new Colorado SharePoint User Group will meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Here is the flyer with details from our first meeting:
This will be a new, dynamic SharePoint User Group dedicated to building a community of people who work together, play together, and share together. We will have user group meetings in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Northern Colorado at both established sites and rotating sites. All regions will have their own meetings but will be tied to the overall COSPUG, which will have this consolidated SharePoint 2010 site as a common repository. This site will provide tons of content to viewers, including all presentations from each user meeting and any sessions from other related events. Additionally, all of the Denver-based meetings that occur at AmeriTeach will be recorded and broadcasted live over LiveMeeting for live web viewing or later recorded viewing.
Another great benefit will be that the COSPUG has incredible vendor/sponsor support, which means we will also have extra-curricular COSPUG activities that don't even involve a user group meeting: happy hours, breakfasts, brown bag lunches, paintball, happy hours (yes, lots of these), and many other events - all occurring in each region and paid for by sponsors.
You can expect to interact with the same people who coordinated and executed the SharePoint Saturday Denver event, including the planning committee, the sponsors, and all of the attendees. We plan to make this an incredible community, and we hope that you join us!
