I would like to have another ski\ride trip this season.  I am thinking January would be a great time to get together.  Thoughts?

At the User Group meetings, it would be great to have a Question and Answer period where attendees can ask the burning question of the day and get answers from the collective consciousness.

What does everyone think?

Chris,

The NorCo group has that built in to the last part of the meeting.  So we usually have a presentation at the beginning and then we have an open session for Q&A's.

Sounds great to me.  An open panel for questions, and we can populate the panel with community leaders/organizers, or just have it as an open discussion.

How do you do it in NorCo, Jeremy?

That's great.  I like the way the Q&A session increase the interaction of the attendees.

I think informal open discussion works well for the regular UG meetings, however with SharePoint 2010 in everybody's radar, maybe something we should consider is a night dedicated to a panel discussion of key 2010 features with Q&A.

I usually just have an open discussion... Someone comes in with a question then it gets passed between everyone and if someone knows something they mention the fix/change/solution, which usually creates more discussion.  Sometimes this has created a full hour discussion.

This sounds like a great idea!
