Experis is looking for a Sharepoint Systems Analyst for a client of ours with a very strong background in SharePoint and business analysis. Position will start as a contract but it will go permanent.
The position includes working directly with end users thru upper management, , upgrading and providing end-user support for applications, and defining and designing automation needs, which may include .Net development, SharePoint, commercial off-the-shelf system, or another technology tool, all typically in a Windows environment.
For SharePoint solutions, this position may be responsible for actually implementing the solution, training a power user, or providing more technical requirements to a programmer to develop.
Responsible for analysis and design of application software; assesses user needs, and analyzes and evaluates existing software systems for effectiveness and efficiency.
Researches, tests, and evaluates equipment and application products. Assists in developing purchase specifications.
Constructs, tests, documents, monitors and provides production support for complex application software.
Tests, installs, customizes and maintains new applications and systems. Develops and delivers employee training.
Diagnoses and remedies system or programming problems, and develops reasonable alternatives.
Interacts with users, vendors and contractors to select appropriate software and equipment. May manage projects including creating relevant project documentation, assigning tasks, and reporting project progress. Develops internal project management standards and methodologies.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
Five years progressively responsible experience in system support, development and/or database administration. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
